Rashdan is a businessman who provides diving services. He has a wife, Sakinah and a daughter, Nisa. Rashdan has believed in ancestral superstition since childhood, while Sakinah, a medical graduate, trusts science and prayer. When Nisa's trial exam results disappoint him, Rashdan takes the family across the country seeking powerful amulets, only to encounter shamans who are more interested in deceiving them than helping.
